The Remastered Series is Master Gunworks’ mechanically transformed 1911 — a factory pistol re‑engineered through controlled geometry, upgraded components, and disciplined hand‑fitting. This line exists for shooters who want the performance and integrity of a hand‑built pistol without the scope of a full custom build.
Each Remastered pistol begins as a new factory 1911. From there, the internal components are replaced with proven, high‑quality parts and fit by hand to establish correct timing, lock‑up, and mechanical consistency. The work focuses entirely on function, reliability, and precision. No cosmetic alterations or refinishing are performed; the identity of the Remastered Series is mechanical, not aesthetic.
Every pistol is tuned, tested, and verified to ensure smooth operation and dependable accuracy. The result is a 1911 that performs far beyond its factory origins while maintaining a clear distinction from a full‑build Master Gunworks pistol.

Additional Mechanical Refinements
In addition to the listed operations, every Remastered Series pistol receives a series of supplemental mechanical evaluations, micro‑adjustments, and refinements that are not itemized. These are the subtle, experience‑driven corrections that define single‑maker craftsmanship — the work that cannot be reduced to a checklist. Any additional adjustment required to establish proper timing, reliability, or mechanical integrity is performed as part of the Master Gunworks standard, while remaining within the no‑refinish, no‑cosmetic‑alteration philosophy of the Remastered Series.
