Dedication to Craftsmanship
This is a one pistolsmith shop. I personally hand build each 1911 pistol. I put pride of craftsmanship and extreme attention to detail first before speed of manufacture or profit. Perfection is not a fast process. Some of our full builds can take 150 hours or more to build.
The Method
I build each 191 by hand. This means I use manual machine tools, files, stones, hand lapping or similar methods to hand fit every piece. The end result is a fit, finish and smoothness that cannot be replicated by any other method.
Precision Accuracy
One of the greatest benefits of our hand build 1911 is the highest degree of accuracy. Precision hand fitting of every part allow a high level of control while fitting critical parts like the barrel and bushing. Master Gunworks 1911's are second to none in accuracy.
